Business Internet & Enterprise Connectivity in Cyprus
Cyprus occupies a useful position in the Eastern Mediterranean connectivity map — EU jurisdiction, a gateway to the Middle East, and a growing submarine cable landing point.

Cyprus occupies a useful position in the Eastern Mediterranean connectivity map — EU jurisdiction, a gateway to the Middle East, and a growing submarine cable landing point. In October 2025, the BlueMed cable (part of Google's Blue & Raman system) landed at CYTA's Yeroskipos station, connecting Cyprus to Greece, Italy, and onward to the Middle East and India. For financial services, legal, and professional services firms with both European and Middle Eastern operations, Cyprus's connectivity position is increasingly relevant.
The Connectivity Landscape
CYTA is the dominant carrier — comprehensive enterprise services including fibre, DIA, and cloud with DDoS protection and 24/7 support. Cablenet operates its own independent network. Epic (formerly MTN Cyprus) offers DIA up to 10Gbps symmetrical with SLA guarantees. Primetel provides fibre up to 10Gbps in selected areas.
CYTA's submarine cable network connects Cyprus to Greece, Italy, France, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt — a footprint that's strategically valuable for enterprises bridging European and Middle Eastern operations. The BlueMed landing in October 2025 adds a direct Google-backed route to the Mediterranean and beyond. CYTA Yeroskipos also hosts the ALEXANDROS cable (CYTA-owned, to Egypt and France) and the ARSINOE system.
Data centres in Nicosia include CYTA Aglandjia, Primetel, and Epic. Limassol hosts CYTA Amathus and IPTP Networks. Limassol is the primary financial services hub — major law firms, shipping companies, and investment funds are concentrated there.
What We Deliver in Cyprus
We start with your requirement, not a carrier list. Single circuit or dual? What resilience model? Is carrier diversity a requirement? What's your lead time? Once we understand that, we'll recommend the right options for your specific address in Nicosia or Limassol. Our Nexus platform covers 2.5 billion buildings globally — we know what's serviceable before we make a recommendation. For clients with Cyprus as part of a wider Eastern Mediterranean programme — alongside Greece or Middle East — we can manage those as a regional engagement.
Lead time: 40–45 working days for standard enterprise DIA in Nicosia and Limassol.
